Oracle VirtualBox - Mounting Shared Folders

Am writing this down as an aide memoire as I'm sure to forget it.

I had a USB drive plugged into my ThinkPad, and shared it via VirtualBox Shared Folders.

I've blogged about VB before, including this post which related to my challenges installing VB's equivalent to VMware Tools, called VBox Additions.

Once Additions was in and running, sharing the drive from the host to the guest OS was simple but ....

I couldn't work out how to make the share available within the guest itself.

I knew the share name was LenovoExternal so a quick Google search brought me this: -

mount -t vboxsf LenovoExternal /mnt

Job done.
